The wonderful ministries and missions of the First Presbyterian Church of Haverhill are possible thanks to your gifts to our Church. We thank God for the gift of your time and for your financial gifts in support of our discipleship.
We are thankful for all gifts: those that are pledged and given on a regular basis; one-time gifts; special gifts in support of specific ministries like Open Hand Pantry or Emmaus House; your gifts to our capital campaign; and the longer-term planned giving efforts of our congregation. We invite you to join us as a community of faith, and to offer your gift of time and financial assistance to the extent you are able, rejoicing in the gifts that God has provided to us.
Annual Appeal
Being an active participant in the life of FPC includes financial support to the extent you are able, in gratitude for the gifts given to each of us by God. Members pledge support via our annual appeal, and through planned giving. Our Annual Appeal provides the majority of funds for the church’s annual budget and operating needs. We collect pledge cards from the congregation each fall, in time to meet budgeting and planning needs for the next calendar year. Those who are able to pledge specific support for the following year each fall enable our Session to plan for the year knowing that funds will be available to support our needs.
Apple Tree Gifts
Apple Tree gifts augment annual giving by our congregation. By targeting specific expenses, we can confidently assure that the many little details that are needed to serve you will be available when the time comes.
Capital Campaign
At times, FPC will ask its congregation to give to a capital campaign that will assist us in dealing with specific needs of the church. We are currently working to dispose of our mortgage.
Giving Options
You may support FPC by placing your offering in the collection plates on Sunday morning (envelopes are available in the pews), or by sending in your check to the church office.
FPC also offers optional Electronic Giving (e-giving) via convenient Electronic Funds Transfer or credit card (Visa, Master Card, or Discover). When donating online, please fill out all required fields and choose the specific ministry or cause to direct your funds. You may make a one-time donation or a recurring one (with options as to how often you want to give).
FPC is now using Vanco for all electronic giving transactions. With Vanco, not only can you donate as you could before, but you can now track your giving trends and print out your personal giving statements at any time.
